Entry for the 'cutest pumpkin'

This fruit is clearly underdeveloped, but the plant got overrun with mildew a few days after I took these pictures and so it stopped growing.
This is its final size.
I think, what it lacks in the weight department easily gets overshadowed by its looks.

Even though this was never a category, this pretty pumpkin deserves its own price: Cutest Pumpkin.

Unknowingly, I planted both pumpkins right above a colony of voles.
They did not directly chew at the plant, but somehow managed to hollow out under it...
That stunted the plant so much, that the weeds around it took over.
I also neglected it almost completely; I watered a few times and weeded twice, but it didn't help.
