Is that an elephant garlic? or have you selectively bred them that big? I get big garlic from breeding, but not that big....
That it is elephant garlic is our best guess. It is actually a mystery crop this year. I will have to look back and see if I have written about it yet. I am pleased. It's hard to keep one for replanting and experimenting... I want to eat them all... Luckily I have a fairly good harvest of normal sized garlic too.

Garlic is one of the most satisfying crops 2 grow ever. That looks like a beauty.
Growing garlic is very satisfying. Back home in Wisconsin the farm I worked for filled half a tobacco barn ever year with slats hanging full of drying garlic. YUM!!!
