The Console Gaming Continues

in #gaming7 years ago

So, I'm currently staying with my spouse at his dads place.

It's a place for us to save up and get back on our feet. With nothing better to do, I bought a couple cheap af Xbox 360 games, and I've been actually playing them.

As I mentioned in another post, I'm a PC gamer, and prefer playing PC games.

Console gaming has been relaxing though. So that I'm not sitting too long, I started standing up and playing today, and it felt really good. I recommend it to anyone console gaming for long periods of time. If you're a PC gamer, I guess getting a standing desk is the alternative.

So, what I really wanted to talk about, is the secret hidden collection of games that I found today.

I mean, I knew most of them were there, but they said Xbox not Xbox 360, and last thing I remember reading, is that Xbox 360 is not backwards compatible. I did some research today, just because I wanted to be completely sure, and it said as long as your console has an original Xbox 360 hard drive, some games will work.

I guess mine has an original hard drive :D

What this means? I can now play a game that gives me a huge dose of nostalgia. JSRF, or Jet Set Radio Future.

I found out that there is an HD version on this on Steam for PC, and I might get it once I get my PC back :D

I've also been playing more Saints Row IV

And it has provided me with hours of random entertainment!

There are a few other games I might play.

There is Dead or Alive 1, 2, 3, and volleyball. There is Counter-Strike (one that @thecastle has worked on), Blood Rayne (more nostalgia), and Morrowind. Even if my stuff taked another 2 weeks to get here, I'll have some stuff to keep me entertained. :D

Sort:

I started on old school consoles, then PC. But I like both.

the original xbox had so many good games, JSRF was definitely one of them. Disappointingly though the PC version isnt JSRF but the original Jet Set Radio that came out on Dreamcast.

are you really have an original hard drive ??

@zombiedoll Thanks for your work as well!

Saints Row 4 was good, but I still prefer 3. They're both great, though.
