I am so happy reading this story as I have observed this a while ago with the community of friends I met through gaming in adolescence.

Its almost as if their minds were built to understand it before it even existed to the extend it does today, and for thr current generation as we move towards a fusion of the digital and physical world understanding programming almost seems like a vital point of success in the world of tomorrow.

Like an ... evolutionary trait!

I am no where near as good as a gamer to most of my friends but as a mom doing the homeschool/unschooling thing we are also on the side trying to pull together an online gamer camp so the kids can make friends with other gamer kids.
