RE: Why Online Play Will Never Be Local Play (A trip down memory lane)

in #gaming7 years ago

Nintendo always did a great job with multi-player games, although most of my experiences with them were with the original NES.

More recently (well, 14 years ago...) we got into playing multiplayer Halo on the the original Xbox. My wife and I and a couple of friends sniping at each other from the caverns around Blood Gulch - such good times. (We owned our own business at the time and it was surprisingly effective stress relief.)

I played a lot of Double Dribble in the NES days. My mom's boyfriend at the time was obsessed with the Chicago Bulls, and he'd play that game with me a lot. haha Pretty fun multiplayer title for that console if you like sports games!
