Hey Guys, Its been awhile since I've last written a post. Caught up with lots of work recently so here goes..!
My main motivation of getting a 4K TV was mainly because I need to play games in 4K and I thought why not invest on a good TV that'll last me for a good few years. When you're talking about 4K it dictates a resolution of 3840 pixels x 2140 lines. This means that you're seeing 8.3 million pixels in a native video or picture! I did my research and with the help and recommendation from rtings.com, I've found a suitable candidate.

I wouldn't dive into the specs and details of the TV but simply put this TV is AWESOME! It definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of picture quality and also the clarity of it. Not to mention it supports HDR1000 too! Unfortunately it could be quite pricey for some of us but I've managed to grab it at a discounted rate of RM5200 (1300 USD). I've bought this TV on April 2017 , sadly its been discontinued and its rare on the market now. However, if you're looking to get a solid 4K TV, I would highly recommend this TV to you.
One might argue that the sound quality of this TV is mediocre at best, at least for me its good enough. Nonetheless, to spice up my experience, I've decided to get a Samsung HWK-360 2.1 Soundbar for a price tag of RM500 (128 USD). It has an active subwoofer with 130W of power. Its plenty enough for a small room I occupy in my unit.
Last but not least! You definitely need a PS4 Pro to complete the setup! PS4 Pro at the time of my purchase was RM1700(420USD). With these setups, you're set to go on gaming with 4K experience! Of course you would need a game that fully utilizes the potential of 4K resolution. With the newly released games like Monster Hunter World and Horizon Zero Dawn, you're able to play it with 4K resolution.
OR you could just get a High End PC that is capable of handling 4K resolution graphics but in my case a PS4 Pro will do.

A high end PC can't play Monster Hunter World, not yet at least haha. Epic set up man, wish I had that but I'll have to settle on average for now :)
