Let's start then:
Everquest Online is celebrating its 19th anniversary with the launch of a new Progression Server!
Source
Everquest Online, one of the oldest, still living MMORPG in the market is celebrating its 19th anniversary with a bunch of In-Game Events and the announcement of a brand new Progression Server called Coirnav!
This celebration will come in the form of various "Anniversary Missions" like “Lost but Not Forgotten,” “A Formal Dinner Party,” "Pieces is Pieces," and "Fish Eyes in the Dark." Each of these tasks are Depths of Darkhollow and Mayong Mistmoore-themed!
Source
Returning Anniversary Content and Bonus Experience is part of this celebration bundle too. Players will earn 1.5x bonus experience on ALL servers for the rest of March!
And for the Returning Content we have:
All of the previous years' anniversary content from the 14th - 18th anniversaries will go live alongside new content on Friday, March 16, 2018.
On Thursday, April 12, 2018 the anniversary content from the 5th - 13th anniversaries will return! These events will also run until Thursday, May 10, 2018.
Celebrating this year's anniversary on a Progression Server? As with most special events, content will be made available in the era that it originally unlocked.
For those unfamiliar with the concept of a "Progression server", they're essentially fresh start servers that begin with the base version of a game and then periodically re-release expansions. This allows players to experience the game the same way it was experienced back in the day. This new Progression server will launch on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11 AM PT.

Archeage 4.5 update will launch on April 5. Adding 2 new Progression servers!
Source
Trion Worlds announced last week that the next expansion for ArcheAge titled "ArcheAge: Legends Return" launches on April 5th and will be known as the update 4.5. The new update adds new customizable dragon mounts which can be raised and used as battle mounts. The update also adds new major world bosses as well as major balance changes to many of the game's classes.
This update will also brings with it 2 new progression server, both of which will be available to free users on launch day. Players who pre-order a Legends Return Entry Pack can secure their names beforehand.
It is quite rare to see Trion Worlds offering this kind of features for free. In Rift Online (from Trion Worlds) it's required a monthly fee to gain access to its progression server and let's not forget about some of the Pay-To-Win aspects of ArcheAge that Trion Worlds has implemented over the years. But this progressions server will probably help increase the game population a bit and make the experience more interesting!
Dauntless, the Free Monster Hunter-Like MMO is launching Content Updates!
Source
Dauntless Players will now have a bigger arsenal of weapons and combos to choose from, along with new ways to explore the Shattered Isles with the release of the latest Dauntless patch. Patch CB 0.3.7 introduces Warpikes for every Behemoth in the game. Players can now choose from a wider range of warpikes to suit their prey!
The patch also adds new axe attacks and combos which culminate in powerful repeatable attacks. Charging up three tiers also grants axe users Resolve which will allow them to “power through any damage or interruptions and deal a mighty blow.” Taking risks in Dauntless is more than rewarding.
“Enhance your arsenal with the new addition of warpikes for every Behemoth in Dauntless. With the addition of these, we will have officially replaced all placeholder weapons and armours! Slayers will now have many more weapon choices as they take on more challenging Behemoths that stalk the Shattered Isles.”
Some of the Monsters have also been reworked to make them more challenging.
“We have overhauled their behaviours and attacks in an effort to make them less predictable and punishing, and more exciting and effervescent.”

Capping it all off is the introduction of new ways to explore the Shattered Isles and move faster within them in the form of traversal aether vents which will allow Slayers to explore their environment quicker and reach unexplored areas. There’s also quality of life improvements, audio-visual enhancements, and a new player-friendly tutorial system.
Project Gorgon has launched on Steam's Early Access.
Source
For those who haven't heard about this project, Project Gorgon is an ambitious MMORPG with a Skill based leveling system that eliminates completely the pre-determined class choices allowing players to choose and combine a set of skill to make their own unique class. This game has quite the selection of skills, ranging from "First Aids" and "Swordplay" to "Vampirism" and "Dinosaur Anatomy" and I'm not making of the last one!
Project Gorgon launched on Early Access on March 13th.
40$ is a little bit much for an indie title, but the game has a lot of content to offer and it will be adding more content regularly, improving visuals and gameplay!

PixARK, The Voxel open world sandbox survival game based on Ark: Survival Evolved, will be launching on Steam early access and Xbox on March 27th as a buy to play title.

eSports Olympic will not include "Violent Games".
Source
As of last year, the International Olympics Committee had publicly announced their interest and consideration of Esports as an event in the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics. Citing Esports's impressive revenue numbers and engagement with younger audiences, the IOC are no doubt hoping to capitalize on the Esports industry's current track record of success.
Fans who are hopeful of seeing some of their favourite games and Esports veterans competing for Olympic Gold will be disappointed however, as the IOC will be shutting out any "violent" games from consideration.
In a recent interview, CEO of AliSports DaZhong Zhang, talks about the current expectations of a possible Esports Olympic event.
"In our communication with the Olympics committee, we’ve come to have a better understanding of their values, which is to promote peace... That’s why for the future development of eSports, we will focus more on titles that are actually related to sports, instead of games that focus on violence and slaughter."
It has been speculated that the IOC will be "leaning towards video games that directly simulate real-world sports, such as EA's FIFA and 2K Sports' NBA2K series".
Personally I don't find interesting watching matches of Fifa or 2K Sports, we have real life matches of that already. It is a bit disappointing but understandable whatsoever.
