Devil May Cry 4

Devil May Cry 4 was a video game of 2008 created by Capcom and directed by Hideaki Itsuno who had already had enough experience with old deliveries of the saga and other games, in this we will see ourselves entering a new adventure along with the legendary Dante and a new addition that is Nero with which you will have several finds within the story. In Devil May Cry 4 he presents us in the great fortified city of Fortuna, they introduce us to Nero a young rebel and insecure because of his demonic arm that doesn't know how he appeared which apparently is late to an opera which is being sung by his half sister and love Kirie, When the opera ends we are introduced to Dante killing the leader of the order Sactus, here begins the meeting between Nero and Dante which was a fight almost at par given the connection between Nero and Dante in terms of power, then the young Nero is given the order to hunt Dante while the city of Fortune is being attacked by demons; During Nero's journey of hunting Dante he will realize the true intentions of the Order of the Sword as they want to have the conquest of the world through a kind of ritual of "angelic" descent, Nero proceeds to confront each of the administrators of the Order of the Sword to keep the world safe from such threats and rescue Kyrie from their hands.

It uses the classic gameplay of Hack and Slash giving us two distinct gameplay options between Dante and Nero, The game can be frustrating with some bosses giving way to trial and error until you learn the patterns of the enemies, and not only happens between the bosses but also in some common enemies that can become a headache even more than some bosses.

Graphically the game for the time looks pretty good in some scenarios giving a lighting, shadows and decoration well detailed but sinning in some that seem to be the last generation, something that stands out in terms of serious design in the city of Fortune giving a place with the Victorian structure giving to emphasize how religious you can become there, then this will present a great castle in the middle of a cold picture, this has a great design when we first see it giving the feeling of being an intimidating place, Then we enter into this giving a good quality in terms of design of the stage looking like this a place built during the middle ages for a wealthy family, then we present the jungle in which structures are destroyed and consumed by nature this has a design that can become loose or degradable by the great abundance of dark green colors with a lighting that does not help much, then we will be presented with a large castle of the order of the sword which will have a design that looks like the previous castle but that a predominance in the white and a style even more elegant and refined in some parts. The game gives us a pretty good design in terms of characters and weapons, giving a good design to Nero both Dante looking different to the subsequent delivery due to the past years, as for the personality Nero may seem a carbon copy of the young Dante but as we move forward we see that it is not and can become a character even deeper than Dante, and Dante's personality is almost the same as the subsequent delivery giving it all the same and having fun in the most tense situations. In what the game sins it can be that when we change from Nero to Dante they force us to cross the game from the end to the beginning with Dante going through what we had already known before and being repetitive in terms of scenario but this is due to the lack of time given to the pressure of Capcom because of the release date, even Dante was a last minute addition due to the low sales expectations.

In the sound level the game stands out because it can be rewarding some sounds of both firearms and hand to hand weapons, each one with a marked sound that can be easily recognized despite the great action that is running on screen, as for the soundtrack this helps us to go deeper into the scenarios presented commonly hitting the atmosphere, There will also be a combat theme for each character when engaging in combat with the enemies being a theme that fits the character, his personality and combat style being rewarding to fight while listening to such a good soundtrack, you can also recognize the enemy by the sound they emit when they introduce themselves and when they attack.

In conclusion Devil May Cry 4 is a good experience becoming satisfactory, but that yes, for the new ones in the saga it can get to be a frustrating and difficult game even in its but low difficulty due to the complex playability or difficult dominion of the characters that can move away to some that got to play it but outside of that it is a great game standing out in its sort by its great playability that is improved remarkably in its sequel.
