Are we ever going to see PES 2018 for mobile devices? The real answer is, no one knows yet. Although, a new update was released for the 2017 version of the game, a new edition of Pro Evolution Soccer for iOS, Android and Windows devices is yet to be announced.
Based on precedences, there is a chance that we may not get PES 2018 for mobile. Back in 2016, EA Sports released a version of FIFA 16 for mobile users; it was a feast for the eyes with its amazing graphics, controls and was even the first mobile soccer simulation game to allow selection of celebrations. Fast forward to September 2016. FIFA made a drastic decision (for the worse) to make a game whose size is less than 100MB, but largely depends on mobile data and Wi-Fi, and even has extremely terrible graphics. And what worse name, FIFA Mobile. Although, the intention may sound good, but the execution wasn’t the best
, will Konami follow in EA Sports path, or give us something even better than last year’s edition? We will have to wait and see. Currently, PES 2017’s mobile edition is doing pretty well. Its amazing graphics and flexible controls are some of its best assets.
Konami better not fall into EA Sports’ error. Even an update to change the game’s name, UI and minor features will do.
