Storyline

Syrian Warfare tells of a Syrian policeman named Anwar who just got home from vacation. One morning in the city of Aleppo when he was about to leave for work, he was called by the boss, the Vizier who asked to be escorted to the outskirts of town to meet his partner, Wahid. Viziers suspect that Wahid wanted to talk about an attack on a new military convoy near his village.

Arriving near the site, Wazir prevented Anwar from joining him and asked him to wait in the car. But he let the radio live so Anwar knew what was in their conversation. When Wazir is out, Anwar gets a radio call from his friend, Ilyas who is just chatting.

Arriving at the location, Wazir was greeted by Wahid along with a number of armed men. Apparently, he was persuaded by Wahid to join the Al-Nusra front to rebel against the government that is in chaos. Wahid also admitted that it was they who attacked the military convoy. Long story short, for refusing them to kill him. Before the shot, Wazir warned Anwar to return to the police station and prepare for the attack.

Anwar who heard all the contents of the conversation was immediately took the radio and reported the incident to Ilyas, he then went out of town to find another troop. Ilyas immediately asked for help to Karim by telephone. Sure enough, when Ilyas was on the phone, a group of gunmen attacked the police station. The great battle was inevitable. How is Anwar's fate? Find the answer by playing this game.

Gameplay

In this game, you can control the troops that are divided into teams with different abilities. For example the sniper team has the ability to shoot remotely, a team of engineers who have expertise in the field of explosives, and others. Each team, can not be separated per individual.

In addition to infantry troops, there are also various vehicles that you can use on the battlefield. Starting from light vehicles such as Toyota Hilux and private vehicles owned by civilians to heavy vehicles such as tanks can be used.

But remember, every vehicle can run out of fuel, and the vehicle does not have a health point. Damage is calculated based on the type of bullet that hit and the point where the bullet hit. Any damage can affect the performance of your vehicle. In case of minor damage, it can still be repaired. If the damage is too severe then should be abandoned as well as looking for other vehicles that can still be used.

Your troops can occupy the building to take cover and defend its position. Each building has a different resistance to shots and explosions. Some can withstand several explosive shell explosions from tanks, but others can be destroyed only by small explosions.

At each end of the mission, you will get a CP (Combat Point) which serves to recruit troops at the beginning of the next battle. Each unit requires different CP.

Being on the side of the government as a helicopters and fighter jets. But do not underestimate them, though not dominating airspace, they have a very deadly unit, suicide bombing. The massive explosion of suicide bombs can be synchronized with a bomb from the plane. If sued, a suicide bomber can kill several teams, even some armored vehicles in one blast.

Suicide bomb blasts caused severe building damage

Control

Like other game strategies in general, Syrian Warfare uses an isometric viewpoint that can be rotated 360o. With keyboard and mouse as the main control device.

Physic

Physic in this game works very well. Buildings will be damaged according to the position of the explosion affected. Movement of soldiers who were shot dead was seen not rigid. However, unfortunately the smoke effect seems a bit too quick to disappear after an explosion.

The building was smashed into pieces of explosion

Graphic

The graphic quality of this game is quite good. There are options ranging from very low to very high that can be applied. The effects of explosions, projectiles, and smoke look amazing. The shadow of every object in the game also looks good.

Audio

The sound of gunfire, explosions, and vehicle engines sounds quite realistic. You can feel directly as if you were on the battlefield. Voice Acting is also arguably good considering this game is made by Russian developers. There is full audio support in English and Russian. However, when giving orders to Syrian soldiers in the field they will answer in Arabic. There is also music that accompanies throughout the game. However, sometimes less suited to the circumstances on the battlefield.
