Demons Crest Retrospective and Review SNES

in #gaming6 years ago

Please enjoy this review and look at Demons Crest on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System

Demon's Crest, known in Japan as Demon's Blazon, is a side-scrolling platform video game developed and published by Capcom for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the third video game starring Firebrand (an enemy character from the Ghosts 'n Goblins series, known as "Red Arremer" in the Japanese version), following Gargoyle's Quest and Gargoyle's Quest II.

Yeah, the atmosphere is really unusual for a SNES game and actually some really clever gameplay ideas too, thanks for sharing!
I've been doing some "historical" gaming posts lately, covering noteworthy games released in certain years (just made two about 98 and 2000) and the more I dig into these old titles the more I find out I was missing out on. So would be awesome to see more stuff like this (really love all the smaller details) but somewhere around Y2K with more technically advanced games and more awkwardly implemented new features

Another overlooked title. Has some moody music too.
