Quick thoughts:"Can steemit be an alternative to gaming tutorial and guide sites?".

in #gaming8 years ago

It does not matter if you play with your friends, just for fun or to pass time, at some point you will get that competitive feeling and try to outplay, outsmart your opponents in order to win.To do so, you have to increase your game knowledge, mechanics and/or reaction time. For the third options the only way to improve it is to practice, but for the other two, depending on what game are you playing, there are numerous sites where you can improve.

The games that get the most attention from the competitive scene, to name a few, are:

In order to be at the top, you will have to do some research and learn.A quick and interactive way to do this is to watch your favorite player do "his thing" on Twitch , but this will not get that in-depth game knowledge that you are looking for. You will have to search the internet for the best sites that offers guides.

There are plenty of sites that offer in-dept guides and how to's for different heroes (LoL, Dota) , deck building tutorials (Hearthstone) or just game facts. Some of them are free, others require some fee in order to access more complex guides. The downfall of this is that the sites may obtain content from the creator and then used it as if it was their own, making profit in the process. This will make the original content creator not gain any profit for his time spent creating that tutorial or his in game research that he has done to obtain all the information needed.

Steemit due to it's nature to reward the content creator may help those who spend time gathering that in-game information and share it with others obtain profit and therefore encourage them to constantly improve and update their content.

This concept can help steemit grow faster, since the gaming scene has a large number of communities, that work together in order to improve game experience.
