Ubisoft what are you smokin!?

Yes, your eyes don’t deceive you, the Assassins Creed Legendary Edition costs $800. That is $300 more than a brand new Xbox One X, let that sink in for a moment. It seems Ubisoft decided to one up EA and Bioware who also had a ridiculous special edition for Mass Effect: Andromeda which was $260 for its “ultimate” collector’s edition. I can pretty much guarantee you that the sculpt and the paint job on the actual figurines will be abysmal in comparison to the obviously doctored image were are seeing above.

There are people (suckers) who would like to believe that they will be of the utmost quality, they are dead wrong. Just like any mass produced, painted, sculpture, there are going to be errors and inconsistencies galore. I genuinely cannot imagine what would warrant the $800 price tag. Like this isn’t just overpriced, it’s several hundred dollars overpriced. And to be clear, it’s not that I don’t understand collecting as an expression of fandom. It’s that I don’t understand how this collectors edition is worth $800.
