Yeah the battle system sprung from the success of FFXI so it has a MMO feel to it, and the square ability board was pretty cool as well. I did played till almost at the end, so it wasnt that I didnt enjoy it. I think it was a combination of it taking too long for me to finish the side quests (especially getting the summons), and back then I was still playing with a old and tiny CRT TV so it was really tough for my eyes.
