Isn't it better to make something with crisis engine or something like that? (Sorry I don't know anything about it so probably telling some stupid crap that I don't understand).
But Duke Nukem was my favourite game so maybe it's okay :DD

I suppose, but I don't know how. It would also be more confusing and harder to follow along. Editing for older games was much simpler.
And it's also much easier to write about something you understand.
Together with good memories about Duke Nukem 3D. I think it's a good idea to make this design series. Just because of the sweet memories of the game.
