Learn about the story of Moira, the new character of Overwatch

This day was the Christmas of Blizzard Entertainment fans, because there were so many ads that surely are still excited. But the celebration is not over yet and now we will talk about Moira, the new heroine of Overwatch.

During BlizzCon 2017, Blizzard revealed the heroine, and shortly thereafter showed more of her story, the skills she will have and the first skins she will receive when she arrives at Overwatch in 2018.

We begin with the skills of Moira. Being a support hero, you will have the ability to heal your comrades on the battlefield and absorb the health of the enemies. Biótico Grip - With her left hand, Moira spends biotic energy to heal the allies in front of her. His right hand fires a powerful beam weapon that absorbs the health of the enemies, which heals Moira and recovers his biotic energy.
Biotic Orb - Moira launches a biotic sphere that bounces; you can choose between a regeneration effect that heals the allies you pass through or a decaying effect that inflicts damage on enemies.
Fading - Moira teleports quickly a short distance.
Fusion - It is the maximum ability of Moira. It channels a powerful ray that heals the allies and crosses barriers to harm their enemies.

Now let's talk about the history of Talon's support. Moira O'Deorain is a brilliant scientist but involved in controversies. Although he is at the forefront of genetic engineering and had the resources to cure diseases and conditions, he preferred to use his knowledge to alter DNA at the cellular level and help the enemy's side.

Seeing her ambition and the lack of ethics she had in her work, her colleagues began to disagree with her. However, he received help from Overwatch's covert operations division: Blackwatch. He continued his work in secret while developing new weapons and technologies for the organization.

After the dissolution of Overwatch, O'Deorain joined Talon, although many suggest that the organization had been supporting it for years. O'Deorain's work remains unknown to most of the world. Now that it is no longer limited, it is a matter of time for everyone to know it.

On the other hand, during the Overwatch panel at BlizzCon 2017, the studio showed the first Moira skins. At the moment it is only conceptual art, but we can get to know them thoroughly when the heroine arrives at the public testing ground next year.

During BlizzCon 2017, Blizzard introduced Blizzard World, a hybrid map for Overwatch that will debut next year. In addition, we could see the incredible short film by Reinhardt.
