I recently bought a Nintendo Switch for my wife and she discovered Amiibo's
She isnt a gamer, and has never been the kind of person who collects things.... until now

Unfortunately for her, the figures which she wants to find are all rare.
Now I have a disappointed wife all because they refuse to keep up to demand of a product.
Because of this, it is forcing me to go to a 3rd party market and get her custom amiibo cards.

These are just scans someone made of an official Amiibo then copied it to an NFC chip, so essentially pirated software. the sad part is that Nintendo created this market because of how they operate.

it makes no sense to me that a company like Nintendo cant get their shit together and actually make enough product to meet demand.
I sort of get why they do things , if they keep things low then it keeps the hype and demand high which in turn makes people write articles about how short the supply is then this gives them free advertising.
But at the same time, its crap and shows there is no real respect for the consumer.
Nintendo of America wants to increase production and have enough to supply everyone, but its the old guard in Japan who call the shots.
