Spore, to the evolution !
Little back, a few years before discovering the internet, I discovered: Spore.
Formally:
I'm not sure it's necessary to present this game, so much has its popularity proved its success.
Spore is a game released in 2008 available on Windows and Mac, and developed by Maxis (creator of Sims). After its success other versions of the game / DLC appeared, including on Nintendo DS, Wii and Smartphone.
Initially the game had for but to let the player develop their content of the game through its parts. It has been in existence since.
The game deals with the evolution of species, a species that is in the present, is ours. We pamper it and make her evolve until hedominates the world! Mouahahaha!
The Gameplay :
The concept, the development, the universe, everything is perfect (at least for the time) ! For the time it is a real new game concept: the player developed his little creature and saw it grow and create his nation.
Indeed, the game consists of 5 main stages: Cell, Creature, Tribal, Civilization and Spacial. Through these stages our creature will acquire physical, psychological, technological, social and war skills. Indeed the player will start with a small cell (2nd image) and will constitute a tribe, a city (3rd image), then a galaxy!
The + :
I think all Spore players will think the same as me : the customization! It is omnipresent, and it is considered the evolution of the species: the player finds a new type of jaw -> hop, we customize our creature.
This customization is not just for our creature, but also with its tribal equipment, its buildings, its tanks, its planes, its ships, everything !
Where Spore is strong is that besides being able to customize everything, it get us very beautiful results and it is possible to do almost everything! Especially with the acquisition of DLC customization!

The - :
I do not know if it's the nostalgia of my mornings spent playing there before school, or my idolization for this game, but I would find it hard to find a negative point. I sincerely think that this game, at the time, could have had the success of a big license today.
9/10
For me this game deserves the 10/10, but I think none can be perfect, but objectively, this one is not. In the end, this game is still sold 9 years later, it must have been so bad!
