If your into fast-pace action packed games this by all means is NOT the game for you, with that said that doesn't mean this is a bad game in any way, shape, or form. Dear Esther is considered a "Walking Simulator" with some breathtaking views, immersive score/sounds, and a gripping poetic tale.
If you play games for story telling this might be a good bet for your library, it may not be the longest story driven game out there but it gets the job done in my eyes. Even if your still a little skeptical you can always wait for a sale on the PSN, it's constantly up there. I bought it during a Playstation Store Flash Sale at $2.99.
I haven't fully beaten it yet because of my work schedule at the moment, but I plan to when I have the time.
