Yeah!!! The good old 90s are back! It's time to relive old memories, beat that game you couldn't beat back then, or simply have fun with yesteryears classic titles. Nintendo is ready to release the SNES Classic Mini Edition later this year for the USA, UK, and Australia on September 29. This will come at a higher. It is going for $79 in the USA and £69 in the UK (£79 through GAME UK and Amazon UK).
Nintendo has assured that the limited stock experienced with the release of the NES Classic in 2016 will not happen with the SNES Classic Mini. Although Nintendo did not indicate a specific production number, they however confirmed that they will produce more number of units of SNES Mini Classic than they did for the NES Classic.
The Japanese company also emphasized that the SNES Classic Mini's shipment will be from September 29 to December 31, with no current plans to go beyond 2017. This means you should endeavor to get hold of the console between September and December at the official price by making your pre-order now. Beyond December, it is likely to be available from other retailers but this would definitely be at a very higher price.
USA Pre-Orders
Nintendo is yet to announce when pre-orders for the SNES Mini Classic edition will open for the USA. However, Walmart and Amazon USA already have dedicated pages for the pre-order. It is worthwhile keeping tabs on them. SNES Mini Classic will go for $79.99 in the US.
UK Pre-Orders
In the UK, Argos have already sold out its SNES Classic Mini pre-order units at £69.99 per unit, but Toys R Us are already burning through their own pre-order like wild fire. Very has even sold out their pre-order stock twice. However, Argos seems to have plans for a pre-order restock close to September 29.

Of course, this should be the number 1 place to go for the console. Nintendo also offers this cheaper than most retailers and some are already reducing their prices.
GAME is a renowned store with amazing reward programs. You should buy from here if you are a loyal customer.
Very UK is a reputable retailer. Though currently sold out of its stock, you should check back there from time to time as most retailers restock in batches.
Argos currently is out of stock but they offer the SNES Classic Mini at Nintendo's official price.
Amazon UK started with £79.99 during their first pre-order stock sale until they sold out. They have now reduced the price to Nintendo's official price of £69.99
Australia Pre-Orders
EB Games was the first retailer to open pre-orders in Australia. Despite maintaining a strict policy of one console purchase per customer, they have already sold out. Another batch of restock is expected.
JB Hi-Fi also adopts the one purchase per customer policy; luckily, they still have stock for pre-order. So hurry now while you can still get in.
Second Hand Pre-Orders
Many retailers are expected to jump into the sale of second hand consoles. News has it that eBay already has listings of the SNES Mini Classic priced as high as $300.
The Nintendo Super NES Classic Mini Edition will launch with 21 games preloaded. These include the never-released-before Star Fox 2 - sequel to original Star Fox. The new mini console will come with Star Fox 2 as a locked bonus, and the only way owners can unlock it is by completing level one of the original Star Fox.
Unlike the 90s edition, the SNES Classic Mini Edition is compact, palm size, and has all the games pre-loaded instead of each being in a separate cartridge.

Each Nintendo SNES Classic Mini console will come with the traditional grey and purple version in the US, while the UK version will have the yellow, red, green, and blue buttons on the controller. With the generous 5 feet of the game controller wire, you no longer have to stay very close to the screen to enjoy classic titles in HD view.
The Japanese version of the SNES Classic Mini Edition is called Super Famicom and comes in an artfully decorated box.

The Super Famicom also has preloaded in it slightly different array of games from the US/UK versions.
