Having played both pretty thoroughly, I had the most enjoyment with Breath of the Wild. Mario Odyssey is hands down the best Mario game to date, but it didn't offer me the complexity, story, and replay value that Zelda games offer. It's no surprise is takes developers longer to make Zelda games than Mario titles.
