YES it would be! I am surprised they announced this because did they not just finish sun and moon this year or last year?
They released sun and moon late last year. Nintendo know how to focus their workforce on their popular franchises.
My only fear that is by doing this it doesnt be like pokemon every year like COD or battlefield pokemon should not be rushed
