I've really loved this series of yours. Its great to look retrospectively on gaming technology, not only capturing the "What where they thinking?" element of the technology, but also the child-like wonder that we had looking at it.

I had moments like this while playing Gran Turismo 3 on the PS2. I thought we would never need anything better to be considered "photorealistic".

We've come a very long way in a very short time.
