Before we get started;
I'd like to go ahead and give a small personal introduction, so without further-a-due, hey guys, I'm ggteixeira or just Ggt for short. I've been around Steemit for give or take six months now and have spent my time here both reading or making content due to with games. I personally love games. I've been playing them ever since I was a kid. I also happened to really like reading and writing. So keeping those two things in mind, I'm sure you guys could imagine how happy I was when I found out about Steemit. Here I find myself able to read and learn more about video games while also creating my own posts sharing some of my gaming stories or knowledge.
So far for this half-year I've really enjoyed my stay on this site and plan on sticking to it for a great many years to come. So, if you happen to find yourself into gaming content and what-not, check out my profile @ggteixeira. Maybe even drop a follow if you like what you see, who knows.
Moving on;
I'll be giving a brief description on DTube, a Steemit application I'd normally use to upload my videos to Steemit. For some strange reason though whenever I record any PuBG gameplay, it won't let me upload it to DTube. So instead, I shall be using YouTube as a temporary solution until the problem is fixed.
DTube is a sort of YouTube but linked to Steemit instead. There content creators can upload and share videos easily with others on Steemit. The videos there can also be up-voted and commented on which is shared on Steemit as well. For a gamer like me who loves uploading his clips and sharing them, DTube is a dream come true.
If you want to learn more about DTube what better place than a post made by the actual creator himself which you can find here. Furthermore if for whatever reason you find yourself with any questions or concerns regarding DTube, leave them in the replies section below and I'll answer as soon as possible.
About the Video!
Like I always do, I'm going to be leaving a warning here for anyone who doesn't like foul language. Some of the commentary between my friends and I in this video is quite hostile, with some bad words and slurs used in good fun. Moving on, I'll be giving a broad overview of some of the content itself that was in the video. I blew up this game getting six kills throughout the duration of the match which is a lot compared to my usual two or three. It was also more impressive to me because we were playing squads.
The team coordination between me and my friends was on point, which was a definite factor explaining how we got so far into the game. The talking between us was also pretty interesting for anyone interested on listening in.
What is Player Unknown's Battlegrounds?
Here's a quick description I've written up for a previous Player Unknown's Battlegrounds review I did.
Player Unknown's Battlegrounds is an action-packed large-arena based battle royal game where players are thrown into a large island with tons of other players. There the objective is to be the last man or team standing doing whatever it takes to survive and takeout all other live-competition. In the start of each match players are flown over the island by a plane where they drop from and parachute onto the island down below. Once they land, players on a timer scramble to scavenge and loot whatever gear they can find all whilst fighting each other in desperation to win the match. At the end of the timer, the size of the map is slowly closed smaller and smaller forcing players closer together. Eventually, all remaining players are forced together in a very small area where they fight it out until the last man or team is left standing.
If I were to compare Player Unknown's Battlegrounds to anything, it'd definitely be Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games, a book based around a similar concept where people are thrown into an arena and forced to fight until only one stands. Player Unknown's Battlegrounds itself though is filled with lots of weapons, vehicles and other cool features that give it endless fun replay-ability every single time. The gunplay feels smooth, the variety of different ways to kill each other infinite and the map vast. All three of these elements plus more make the game a truly greatly battle royal in the vague aspects of things.
Wrapping just about it all up!
I hope you guys enjoyed the video and the little post I did with it. If you did, make sure to leave an up-vote and follow for more content, it's always appreciated. Feel free to leave in comments in the replies section below. Finally, I hope you all have a great new years and I can't wait to see what's in store for Steemit in 2018.
