Awesome analysis. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be a survival game. On the other hand, it could also be some sort of Fallout 1 prequel, a back-to-the-basics game with more primitive tech, a freshly nuked terrain and rougher NPC relationships.
Whatever it is, I'm glad Bethesda didn't go for another traditional sequel.
I actually think there will be more working tech available in the game. This is only 25 years after the bombs fell and the only problems really most likely have been lack of maintenance and radiation. Vault 76 dwellers might just be the first to start scavenging their area.
You could be right. Certainly not high tech as seen in other Fallout games (the pipboy is proof of that), but many things could still be working.
I just hope it's not your usual chop-trees/make shelter kind of survival game, and there is more to it than that.
Well trees is one thing that most likely won't be a lot of :)) I imagine scrounging through destroyed facilities and towns for anything reusable. There's quite a lot to take from F4 in that respect but that crafting system can be soooo much more detailed, so hoping that's gonna be a big part of the game. Might even find still functioning cars ;)
That tree thing is true. I guess there won't be a shortage of rocks though XD Well, as long as they don't turn the gameplay into some sort of Battle Royale, I'm fine with it :)
