For me '7 Days' is a love/hate thing. I love the idea and it's an addicting game, but it seems like it's been out for years with very little to show. I enjoyed the 'Dead Island' games but really loved 'Dying Light'.

Dying Light was one of my favorites so far. I wasn't impressed with the DLC being primarily just parkour objectives. I did like the addons for The Following however I have not played the DLC or Following just dabbled from other friends games.
I just did and will be putting up a 2 hour gameplay/review video you should check out it shows the opening through finding lighthouse and lifeguard station.
