This system had some great features but was just not what was wanted for its time. Had great potential but didn't make it far.
Definitely a console ahead of it's time, it just happened to be in the wrong lane going in the wrong direction. With no lakitu to tell it otherwise.
But this is why I love these vids. You guys take deep dives into consoles that many probably haven't had the opportunity to experience. :)
I never played a CDI. Nice video though, considering most people only know the CDI for Hotel Mario and the Zelda games.
I have never owned one of these. DOn't think I want to.
I have a load of games for my CD-i but, alas, no proper controller.
