Being a gamer is awesome, but it usually requires time and resources to enjoy your favorite games in front of the TV or the monitor. On the other hand, practically everyone has a smartphone in their pocket and the fun is just at your fingertips. No matter what the discussion about mobile games is they are accessible, simple, intuitive, and often free.
Among them there are those catchy titles, which you cannot get enough, even without being a passionate gamer and not at all interested in what is happening in the gaming industry.
Most smartphone owners have probably tried or at least heard of Tetris, Snake or Angry Birds, but here I have chosen more recent examples of games that are hard to leave once you get familiar with them.
Here are eight mobile games that can turn into surprisingly addictive entertainment for everyone. You have been warned :)
Beat Racer(free, iOS/Android)
Pure pleasure for both the eye and the ear: this is how I can easily describe this car game where the goal is to get to the finish line, overcoming various obstacles against the backdrop of great music. The merging of your movements with rhythm is the key to success, and the bright neon vision does not cease to amaze level after level. Beat Racer is made with a lot of love, it's completely free and does not require a penny to progress forward. The great soundtrack will make you come back to it again and again and again, even when you've gone a long way already.
Color Switch(free, iOS/Android)
Color Switch is the essence of a mobile gaming: minimalist, short, accessible and incredibly entertaining. The colorful arcade game contains dozens of levels, each of which can be played literally in seconds - an ideal job if you wait for the subway or want to have fun on the move. The objective is to move the ball through a series of carefully selected obstacles, taking into account the color palette. With over 175 million downloads, Color Switch is guaranteed entertainment.
Rayman Jungle Run( 3.54$, iOS/Android)
Gamers will instantly recall the popular 2D platformer series with the cute cartoon character, but you do not have to be in front of a TV to immerse yourself in the Rayman Jungle Run world of colors. This platformer is managed with just one touch and the design is immaculate to play on the go: your hero moves alone and you only have to steer his maneuvers with one finger. The brilliant graphics was created with the same engine as the Rayman Origins console hit. The first 20 levels of the Rayman Jungle Run are free and the rest are worth every penny.
Sky Force Reloaded(free, iOS/Android)
In real life, airplane piloting is a complex and responsible task, but in Sky Force Reloaded, everything is extremely simple: you are in the air, you have to destroy everything you see and survive to the end of the level. Each level has additional missions, such as people to save. The game is very beautiful, especially on a wider screen. It goes smoothly and is full of content, challenges and upgrades for your aircraft that make it more powerful.
Arkanoid vs Space Invaders (4.30$, iOS/Android)
Who needs sophisticated gameplay concepts when a game can be just as entertaining as a pile of pixels on the screen. The Arkanoid vs Space Invaders meet two classical games from the dawn of gaming, masterfully gathered in an explosive cocktail. The control is easy and the graphics are like a colorful fair. Arkanoid vs Space Invaders will challenge you with dozens of levels, 20 special forces, 40 heroes that you can unlock, and potentially endless hours in front of the screen. Against the one-time purchase, you get the full game so you can only focus on how to send the aliens faster from where they came.
Run or Die (1$, iOS/Android)
Run or Die is a rare example of an endless runner game that is actually quite successful. Perhaps this is due to the fact that it first appeared for the computer, but more importantly, this 2D retro-graphics platformer can pin you for a long time. The goal is to overcome various obstacles by jumping or sliding beneath them. The game has 170 cards, three characters and even a "day and night" cycle, consistent with the time of your mobile device. If you want to play even more of it, Run or Die can also be played with a controller and supports Android TV. The purchase is one time event and has no annoying microtransactions.
Badland (free, iOS/Android)
Badland is an adventure in a picturesque forest where something terrible has happened. The levels are short enough in order to complete one or two in just a few minutes. In addition, the game has checkpoints, so you can stop at any time. The art style is great and the gameplay is inventive and fun. If you like it, do not miss Badland 2 on the same platforms.
Puzzle & Dragons (free, iOS/Android)
Puzzle & Dragons is a combination of two mechanics: Take the Candy Crush puzzles and add the Pokemon Pocket Monsters to them. With influences like these, it is no surprise that the end result is extremely successful. This is a game that can be enjoyed by any audience. Simultaneously, it is easy enough to be playable by anybody, but also difficult enough for those who are looking for a challenge, so they can find it. In addition, Puzzle & Dragons is the world's first mobile game to reach $ 1 billion in revenue. And that means a lot of people like what it has to offer.
