Good Night Everybody !! how are you today? Hopefully you all in good health and fine. As always, I'll be present every day, to share game related information, be it game reviews, game strategies, how to play games, or something else. Okey, on this occasion, again I want to share a review of a classic game that is now present for the mobile version with the title Streets of Rage Classic. Hopefully this game can treat your longing for the past where the game first appeared in the game industry world.
GAME INFO
As we know, if the Streets of Rage is a side-scrolling 'em up game originally developed and published by Sega for the Sega Mega Drive or Sega Genesis console in 1991. And as the game industry grows, the Developer also does not want to be left behind so they develop this game to the mobile version with the title Streets Of Rage Classic published on December 6, 2017 ago. And for those of you who want to try it, you can get this game app on Google Play Store App.
PLOT
The story begins, where ancient times, there is a city that is so peaceful without any criminal action that threatens its inhabitants. However, one day, the city has been taken over by the criminal syndicate and they claim the city as their domain. Violence after violence occurred every day, so the situation began to threaten the citizens. Unfortunately, these syndicates do not carry out the action alone, but they are assisted by certain factions, including the police. Well, hearing the news, Adam who is a great boxer, Axel who is a martial artist and Blaze who is a judo expert, chose to resign from the Police Organization only to fight the syndicates, and of course restore the state of the city as before.
GAMEPLAY
For Gameplay, I think this game is quite simple but also very challenging. Why ? Because, firstly, when you enter the screen, you will be given the option to select one of the three characters. Then, when the game starts, you just beat up the enemies that appear running from either side of the screen in the front and back. Surely you have to defeat every opponent, so you can move on to the next stage in which there are eight overall locations, otherwise known as the rounds. The second why I say this game is challenging, because at the end of each round or stage, we will face a big boss who has different abilities. Call it, such as for example when against one of the bosses who have the ability to spew fire from his mouth.
But, don't worry, because you can pick up weapons such as knives, bottles, and pipe drains, which you can take away from your opponent or hidden in every object that goes along your journey like an oil can, a public telephone box, or other object. And not only that, if the situation or circumstances threaten your life, you can use special attacks. The special attack is to get help from a police car, which enters the screen from the left and fires explosives, to knock down all the enemies around you by pressing the (A) button on the joystick on your phone screen. And this special attack, you can only use, once one life or one level.
CONCLUSION
And lastly, in conclusion, overall Streets of Rage Classic game is very simple both in terms of gameplay and features presented. However, because this mobile version comes very similar to the original version that was present in Sega Genesis in the 90s ago, making this game has the added value of being able to revive our nostalgic moments for this 16-bit era game.
