Lord of the Rings Online - The Shire - The Beginning
Chapter 1
One of the three starting zones in Lotro is called The Shire, the home of the Hobbits.
Who doesn’t remember the beginning of the movies out there? The party tree, the Brandywine Bridge, Bag End….
Can you find those places ingame? Oh yes you can!
It was very nostalgic the first time I found Bag End in the game. Somehow I felt so close to the lore and the game just sucked me into its arms.
The Party tree is a very active place since it serves as a quest hub on different events in game, like for example; The Summer festival.

The Shire is very green with its hills and leaf trees and cute hobbit houses. It’s hard to not find this place welcoming and pretty.
There is four towns located in The Shire;
Michel Delving
Bywater
Budgeford
Brockenborings
In the game, Michel Delving is by far the most active town
The Shire is truly a romantic place.
