Minecraft will have version in 4K and images are very impressive. This what says Engadget :
Minecraft is getting a lot of love from Microsoft this year. The Better Together update lands in August, and it's huge. Crucially, it moves the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions of Minecraft to the Bedrock Engine, which already powers the mobile, Windows 10, Amazon Fire and VR versions of the game. This means Minecraft will finally be the same experience across all of these devices, receiving the same updates and DLC, and enabling cross-platform play.
There is a lot of Graphics pack for Minecraft, but I think that's cool to have native support from Microsoft.

I think the tradeoff is less ability to play the actual game, making it harder to quickly distinguish the different block types, and then you get a bit of immersion or some fancy screenshots. I never really liked hi-res texture packs but I'm all for expanding the actual content of the game
Wow looks too different. Nice changes maybe I will start building stuff soon
It looks beautiful but wonder whether this will take away some of the 'plain and simple' appeal that Minecraft always had. I love running around in this world building structures together with others. Permissionless building.
