RE: Holy Cats! There's a New Wonder Boy in the Works! "Monster Boy in the Cursed Kingdom"

Wow, I'm surprised this series went under my radar entirely. Never even heard of it until now, but the color palette and art style are pretty rad in my opinion, gives it a very stylish look. Matches super well with the metroidish gameplay style in my opinion, why the fuck didn't I ever hear about these games?

Sort:

+1 the omg i missed it.
and omg, someone else that says rad.
i actually said to someone today
'gee i miss gta2'
and they were ?why? .. wait that was the top down one, right? - yeah

Haha, I've been saying rad since, like, 9th grade of highschool and never stopped. If I actually think about it, I really don't run into many other people who say it though. It must be brought back!

The remaster on Switch looks even nicer. The art style on this new one is nice but a step down from that in my opinion:

Yet another reason why I need to go whore myself out for $1 365 times. God damn Switch getting all the dope ass games.

It's on Steam. The new one will be as well.

Ah, now I just decide if I should get it when I have $20 and put it in my Steam library to never play it or if I way to get it on the Switch in another year or two where I'll actually play it. Seriously, man. I don't know why, but I have such an easier time wanting to play console games over PC games. I've got a fair amount of Steam games I haven't touched (To be fair, a lot of them are weird titles that I haven't heard of and got in a bundle from Humble Bundle), and I just always go back to Fortnite or another game on the PS4. I really gotta get out of that routine.

I'm the same exact way and don't understand it either. I think because my PC is where I do all my productive work. I want to get away from it for leisure.

Hmm, I think that might kinda be part of the reason for me as well, probably would be easier to differentiate if I had a desktop for gaming and a laptop specifically for doing productive things like Steemit.

oooh.
