UFC 3 Thoughts

UFC 3 feels much more fluid than any other MMA game I’ve played, However it can be frustrating at first until you learn the combinations and get used to managing distance using the new movement system EA have designed.

Unfortunately I believe a lot of people have left the game due to the big changes in the way the game plays.

That being said once you get comfortable with the fundamentals of the game the game becomes one of the most intense fighting games to date, in my experience I haven’t had any bad losses where I’ve felt robbed and wins always feel well earned , the game mechanics of pulling off ‘The Mighty Wiz-Bar’ or landing a perfect 3 strike combo ending your opponent in spectacular fashion is amazing, it makes getting the finish even more rewarding.

The only issues I have with the game is that it’s a lot of fighters are missing some of the most basic techniques that any professional fighter would be-able to do easily , an example is that there any many fighter that are unable to attempt an arm bar from guard. There are also very few fighters from the UFC’s roster but it is still early days though and I hope they will continue to update the game.

Hopefully the game continues to be improved
