Listening to Steem Monsters Talk on Discord! Summary of What's been Said so Far!

Hey guys! The grind is on now!! Just one week until my first exam and I'm sitting in bed on discord listening to @aggroed and @yabapmatt talking about Steem Monsters LOL

Steem Monsters sounds like an very great idea and a massive asset here on the blockchain. It should bring more utility to the token and more users here onto the blockchain.

I'm incredibly hyped about what the future of Steem Monsters.

Combining Cards/ Level up

The next thing that will be introduced to be game will be combining cards! So with all the extra copies of the commons you have, you can combine them to level them up. Another way to level up is through fighting in tournaments! Both of these ways will earn your cards xp which help your cards level up.

Adding Stats and Abilities

After combining cards are added, Steem Monsters should show some stats and mana costs etc. This will add real meaning into combining cards and let's people know exactly what monsters will do.

Guilds

Right now they're talking about guilds, this sounds like an amazing idea that should bring a lot of the community a lot closer. People on Steemit can make new friends and it would really reinforce the community feel.

In relation to the game, it would let people trade and communicate with each other what cards they need so people can help each other build each other's decks to win tournaments together!

Flavour Texts

They also plan to add in some flavour texts for each cards as kinda like lore! This sounds like a fun idea that I actually suggested to @aggroed yesterday! This adds real meaning and helps players get immersed into the world of Steem Monsters!!

COMING OUT TOMORROW

Starting from tomorrow, people will be able to COMBINE cards and also people will be able to gift packs to each other! This is the first patch and it sounds exciting!!

Some stats in the future

Stats:
Attack Damage done
Defense Damage reduced
Health Damage taken (monsters rejuvenate a set amount of health over time)
Speed who goes first
Magic Attack Guaranteed damage done

Abilities:
First Strike Attacks first regardless of speed
Flying Higher chance of evading attack against non-flying monsters
Trample Damage beyond amount necessary to kill opponent carries over to next opponent
Regeneration Heals a portion of health each combat round
Void Immune to magic attacks
Poison Does damage over time
Stun Chance that opponent doesn't attack next round
Slow Reduces the speed of the opponent
Rejuvenation Faster rejuvenation time outside of tournaments
Blast Damages all of opponents other monsters

Levels: All stats get % boost at each level so that at max level stats are double
Some cards gain abilities at certain levels

Talks of PVE element

I suggested this to @aggroed a couple days ago, and I think others in the community feel the same towards PVE. It would make a great addition to Steem Monsters, and perhaps make it a nice way for newbies to earn some xp and card packs if they can't win any tournaments.

Perhaps make it tournaments = high risk high reward (you might not win anything), PVE = low risk low rewards
