RE: I Do Not Miss Password Screens...

in #gaming7 years ago

I used to play this game (can't remember the name). It was played on the classic Nintendo, the one that didn't have the X and Y buttons yet, and you had a rambo-type character where the goal is go through some sort of jungle to defeat the boss. If you enter the password very quickly and at just the right time, you'll supposedly get unlimited lives and a powerful weapon to help you through. Sadly, I was never quick enough in entering the long password (it was something like up-down-A-A-B-A-select-start-A-A-B-B-left-right-A-B-start) to get the power up. Either that or I was lied to and it was never the correct password to begin with.

Contra from 1987, all-time best shooter if you ask me...
The Koname code was Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A B A Select Start (for single player, add another Select to the cheat)

Wow! That's exactly what I was talking about. I just looked it up in Youtube. That game is a classic.
