Nintendo announced the Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System. This mini-version of the Super Nintendo game computer comes out on September 29 with a total of 21 different games.

The SNES Classic Mini has built 21 games like Super Metroid, Donkey Kong Country, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting, Super Mario Kart and Star Fox 2. The last mentioned game was officially never released for the original SNES, but is now available for the mini-dissertation. Star Fox 2 is a sequel to the original Star Fox, released in Europe under the name Starwing.

Two controllers are included with the 16 bit console. Some games can be played with two, such as Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting, Super Mario Kart, Secret of Mana and Contra III The Alien Wars. The game was released in Europe under the name of Super Probotector: Alien Rebels.

The SNES Classic Mini will look different in appearance, as was the case with the original SNES. For example, the console in the United States came out in gray with purple color accents on the device and purple buttons on the controllers. In Europe the console was almost completely gray and the controllers had buttons in different colors.

In the United States, the device costs 80 dollars. A Europea price has not been announced by Nintendo. It is also unclear how many Nintendo Nintendo models are made of the SNES Classic Mini. The SNES Classic Mini includes a hdmi cable and a power cable with USB connection.

By the end of 2016 it was already speculated that Nintendo would issue a small version of the SNES. A patent was then filed for a controller that seemed highly like controllers of the original SNES console in Europe. In April, Eurogames reported on sources that the SNES mini-dissertation would end at the end of this year.

The SNES Classic mini is a mini-version of the SNES console that originally came on the European market in 1992, becoming the successor to the NES Classic Mini. Nintendo announced the NES Classic Mini last July and released the console in November. The console proved very popular and soon the demand was greater than the offer and the game computer was poorly available. In April, Nintendo confirmed that production of the small NES has stopped. At the end of April there were sold Worldwide already 2.3 million copies.
