I am currently 5th using my horse BRODIE MOSS (YBS) hehe.

Pegaxy (Pegasus Galaxy) is a play-to-earn blockchain racing game with futuristic mythological styling built on the (MATIC) Polygon Network.

The game style is a PVP horse racing game where you earn VIS (Vigorus) when you place a position at the end of the race – First, second and third place.

Each race has randomised elemental variables which include wind, water, fire, speed and more. Using strategic upgrades, food and skill, players must place in the top 3 to earn the platforms utility token, VIS (Vigorus).

I started out at the end of 2021 racing other peoples horses (PEGA’s) for a profit share. Once I figured it out I bought my first horse (PEGA) in December, and shortly after bought a bunch more.

So now I rent the horses out to end users that can race them for me. Racing is time consuming as each time you want to do a race you have to sign transactions in Metamask using your Nano Legder, and sometimes the network can get busy.

I change the profit share to coincide with market prices. For example I would give someone 10% of all winnings, but for that 10% they must sit there and race my horse, it can be up to 25 races if the horse is fully rested. It can take 3-4 minutes to get from the last race and ready for the next race depending on the network.

In January I was renting horses out for 10 days at a time and each horse would earn me 350 USDT or £250. You can choose whether you race for VIS or PGX, whatever you choose you can then convert into USDT, and from there send to an exchange and swap for fiat.

I was taking a small amount of profit, but for the most part I was using my winnings to buy more PEGAS. These horses are NFTs, so even if you are not actively racing them, they still have value.

Breeding opens you up to a world of many possibilities also! I won’t go into detail on that in this post, but you can breed a male and female to make a rare breed type.

You can sell any of your horses from your stable within the marketplace, as well as buy more.

How To Play

  1. Connect your Wallet to the Polygon Chain and Pegaxy Website (I use a Nani Ledger).
  2. Buy or rent a single horse (PEGA) from the marketplace.
  3. Click the Enter Race button and you will be entered into a lobby matching your Pega's class right away.

How much can I earn in Pegaxy?
On average, you can earn around 250–350 VIS per day. Currently the win percentage is around 20–25% for all horses. This might also change depending on future game developments. The VIS price back in Feb 2022 was $0.25. Current VIS price at the time of writing is $0.00004137. Now is not the time to be taking profits haha, but I am still racing my PEGAs every day to earn both VIS and PGX. I believe the price will return in the next bull market. I choose to race the horses myself in this bear market as it’s not worth getting other to do it on a profit share, as the rewards are so small at the moment there is less motivation.

How does Pegaxy make money?
The studio receives funding from the 3% fee of all marketplace transactions, regardless of whether the sale was done by $PGX or $USDT tokens.

I will be doing more Pegaxy posts over the coming days, there’s a lot to talk about…
