I think my husband likes to play Civilization or something like that. He's played it in the past with some friends online around the world. Or a game that sounds like that. I remember hearing about Sim City a few years ago but I didn't ever play it. Can your Sims not be homeschooled? What is up with that? And they have to go to the hospital to have a baby? ;) Looks like you got a great deal for a buck!

Yes! Civilization is a fantastic franchise!
SimCity is pretty fun, too. If I have children and they want to play computer games, I'll probably let them play SimCity since it's interactive and there's a lot to consider to make a city work.
Sorry about the no homeschool thing. I guess they forgot about that option. haha
Thanks for your comment. I definitely got a great deal for $1!
It does appear to be a great game for laying out a city. I'd consider it a class in homeschooling even - city planning. My son really likes Minecraft and I see some similarities, possibly? I just don't get Minecraft at all though. SimCity looks like it's a little more complicated, detailed and for older kids (who can read). :) They should make a homeschool version where they get education points for looking at nature, going to the library and taking a field trip. ;)
