- We have a chat and decide on the price of the game for your preferred Cryptocurrency/Token.
- There we will make our deal, don't pay before we both agree on the price.
Disclaimer: All Most of these games are cheaper than the cheapest steam value because all of them have been Bundled at some point. People at Steamtrades.com sell around my prices or cheaper. @Steemshop: Sell Your Goods On Steam
Couldn't find a place to add #SteemShop tag.
Video-game options:
I’m surprised that A Hat in time isn’t up for sale. I mean A Hat in Time is kind of killing it and shall make a killing when their DLCs kick in. I mean, I already have it and won’t mind paying the Steam price again (it’s a really fun and cute-as-heck-3D-platformer game).Cryptos and vendor options:
Truly I should keep my mouth shut, but I think it’s a smart idea to accept ant cryptocurrency out there. Gives you a better advantage over most vendors that don’t use other cryptos. On vendor options, I haven’t checked nor am thinking of using such ‘til later down the road, so blep. For on contest improvements:
I would suggest using all the different <h#> html (1 is the biggest and three the smallest) for pure æsthetics. And maybe an all-time winners category and references to previous iterations of this contest (don’t know if you’ve planned that out already). As I said from the contest post:
Upvoted and resteem’d, laddie. Anyways, here’s to seeing more contestants! Thanks for the very thoughtful comment. Yeah missing the monthly of Hat of time is actua;;y what made me do all of this in the first place. And I'm not sure about taking all crypto so I liked your opinion. Maybe I'll make my list shorter with images and descriptions of good games. And put all the others on @dgameshop but what do you think about that?
Would you be okay at buying at Steam Prices? or slightly about %20 higher from the lowest price of a game?
Added you as an entrant.
To question one: yeah that would be a smart move - at least allows a rotation system of games to get going.
To question two: I already bought it, so I threw that phrase out there - in sincerity, I would be okay with a 20% markup from its lowest price.
Thank you totally for your suggestions!!
You’re welcome.
Not really sure how to do that. You mean when listing the winners?
Sorry, wrote that entire comment when I was tipsy from the rum. Yeah, yeah, I meant to word it like that.
Congrats, you're the first the winner, your comments and discussions are really good!
It might take time for your prize though. Busy and pressed for time now.
And the contest too!
Will give a proper entry comment when I can.
Here's my suggestion.
I don't want to click on every game to know what it's about. It gets tiring. A little description or a screenshot or both directly in your post will definitely make your sales look a lot more attractive to me than it currently is. I know it's a lot, but honestly, do you have to advertise that many games? You can bet I'm not clicking on every single one. Perhaps reduce the list to the ones you think are the most sell-able? And maybe put them into another list in another week? I don't know.
Another, and maybe it's just me, but why not show the games first, then show how to buy it and the news after? The games are your centerpiece, so make them that.
Yeah, I noticed that but tried to include the images too and it didn't look good either.... I'll think of something around your two suggestions, thanks for giving me something to think of.
Never thought of that, I might merge those ideas together in a future post! Added you as an entrant.
That's another thing that I wanted to talk about but I forgot to mention in my earlier comment. It is tiresome to click e v e r y single title in your list o: you could maybe add a short thumbnail? Or as someone mentioned up there in the thread, add like a 2 line sinopsis or short story about the game o:
Notice that when I really started digging deeper into your list and actually checking the games you had, I found some really really interesting games in there. But from all the previous shop posts you made I had completely ignored them because I wasn't bothered enough to click through all of them o:
I already tried doing the tumbnail things but with the current tables it didn't look good, what do you think about not putting the name of each game but the tumbnail only? Think that will attract more here?
Hmmm maybe if the thumbnail had the name of the game on it o: Otherwise it could get confusing
That's what I'm trying to find a solution for, wish to find it though. I wish @dgameshop site had "sellers" page where a seller can put only the games they sell.
You could tell that to fervi and let him know o: Like instead of showing random games from random people, you could check each game a seller is offering o: I think that should be a feature
Nice job. You seem very professional, and open and available to communicate to answer questions and provide assistance. Good customer service is unbeatable in my opinion, and makes me want to return to a vendor again for repeat business just to support the awesome people running the business.
Here would be my suggestions:
Keep your business operating withing scope, so you don't get burned out or cranky with customers. Keep them number 1, like you are right now. That will take you far! Read encouraging comments (like this one!) to remind you that the customers are not all beasts.
I agree with other comments that top games/deals should be highlighted with a small blurb about the game, or show how much discount it is. Even though I see a cool banner showing Borderlands shown on top, I don't know what kind of game that is, or why I might like it. Some context on the featured game would help.
I am unfamiliar with how games are purchased sold in this style. The text about how you need to chat with the buyer on Steam is clear, and helpful. Are these games you have downloaded and played on Steam, and are able to sell? I'm not sure how that works. Is there a code/key that is given that disables your install, and allows the buyer to install and play from Steam? As a first time buyer, it would be helpful to have answers to questions about purchasing from you. Maybe you could link to a vendor page, to answer common questions, and also show the positive feedback from buyers, to give you more credibility.
This looks like a good service. I would love to see more store-fronts revised weekly/monthly here on Steemit for people to browse and shop from.
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try to focus on real feedback and ignore the toxic ones.
I'll work on that now, just still thinking of the best way to implement it.
Those steem games I sell are actually key codes (or Humble Bundle links that turn into key codes once activated with HB account)
These key codes can be redeemed on Steam via this method. But once redeemed its permanently linked to your Steam account and can't be sold afterwards.
You can't know which game you're going to get unless you redeem it so you have to trust the seller to not give you the wrong key code or invalid one.
The HB link above is affiliate link, I get compromised if you bought their monthly.
Oh my gosh, the game I bought turns out to be one of the best games I have ever played. It is one of those games you never want to stop playing, and it has beautiful graphics, story, and sound. Everything is running well on my PC. I am sooooo happy I took you up on this deal today. I'm going to have a great Labor Day!
Thanks a lot for your purchase!! %20 of it is already added to the prize poll of my contest! Also added you as entrant!
Great to know that, I played Zesteria (which Berseria is a prequel of,) and it worked well on my weak PC too. Don't know which game is the better of them.
Congrats, you're one of the winners, it might take time for your prize though. Busy and pressed for time now.
My big suggestion is that you could/should accept SBI as currency for your games. That way both buyer and seller benefit forever!
Thanks for this comment but its hard for me to accept SBI as a payment unless it's overpay (@3 SBI shares for every $1) that wouldn't be ok will it?
Thanks for the good comment:
No indeed. Why, may I ask, would you want 3 SBI? I can see the case for 2, but not 3.
Posted using Partiko Android
Sorry, you mean per dollar and you're assuming a rate of .66 steem/dollar?
Posted using Partiko Android
Yeah, I meant something like that. I got a better idea Half od the game price must be paid via STEEM/SBD the other half can be paid with SBI. What do you think about this?
That seems very reasonable!
Presumably that lets you cover the costs with liquid assets immediately, so you can turn it around and keep the business going, and your profit comes in dribs and drabs that you can build the business on.
I'll think more on it and tell you my decision!
I decided, I now accept SBI shares as payment method with some reasonable conditions.
Check Out How to Pay Here!
Exactly -----^
Did you see the revamped shop yet?
Yeeha!
I like design of your shop :D But I think that thumbnail you can make more clear. It's too much on it :D
You mean to add thumbnails for every game? I thought of a way of doing that but still haven't come up with a way that make it look good yet.
I mean about first image you have as thumbnail for entire article :D
Yeah, I'll try to have it show less impact more from now on... How do you think of replacing it with the one with The Walking Dead game and other three game thumbnails on it?
By the way, would you buy games at Steam Price for STEEM if they weren't bundled before? Added you as an entrant.
You can replace it with this 4 thumbnails . I just think you need to make them more readable and clear :)
I don't have problem with buying games even if they are from bundles. If I can buy game cheaper than it is in bundle why not? :D
And yes I would by game by using steem on @dgameshop if I had right amount of cash or steem price will go up :D
I think even in thumbnail like borderlands you can put 3-4 games at once spliting them on picture. To be honest - if you are selling AAA games everybody knows them :D
==================
About selling games by steem. I think this can be future especially when steem will be at 2$ for 1 Steem. I like buying games and if I will have option to buy game cheaper or easier without changing steem to fiat and then buying game directly on steam that will be usefull.
I think as @OPGroup we can get big enough in future that you will be able to buy games without hesitating because all your post will have high rewards :D and if you will be able to get 10 steem daily because of rewards for daily work, why there will be a problem to buy game when game cost 8 steem or 9 or even 20 Steem :D
Thanks again for your opinion... Here's another two questions
Do you think I could use some of the format here in my future game stores? I've been experimenting and this is what I come up with.
Since you implied that you'd be glad to pay with STEEM. What's the game that you'll buy instantly if you saw in my store and what's the max price you're willing to pay for it? Listing more games will help me more.
Max price is not the good question. IF I will have 1000 Steem I can pay 60 steem easily.
What type of game dosn't counts too but I think of new big games. Let's say you have Fallout 76 - preorder and you have it cheap like 39$ and I will buy it.
And yes you can use format where you want :D
Added you as an entrant. By the way, will you buy them even at Steam price if they were here? Or slightly higher than the lowest price known? If you won't buy them do you think other people would?
And I'm the same as you for Cuphead... As for Terraria it takes time to get used to so I haven't seriously played it yet.
For Crosscode I had gotten it in beta for free but I, personally, would definitely buy it at the steam price since it’s just an intriguing game for me. I do think most others would buy it for a lower price though since not a lot of people really know about it and the story. I don’t think the developers showed how great of a game it is in the trailer.
Cuphead is a game that I’m sure people would pay the steam amount since so many already have. But of course, who wouldn’t want a sale? I believe they’d buy it slightly higher than the lowest price.
And for Terraria? It’s an old game, a great game, but old. I think most people would want a lower price than $10 but I think those that truly want it, if they don’t already have it, would definitely pay up to half of the original.
I hope these helped :)
Posted using Partiko iOS
Thanks you definitely helped!
I don't have much to add to whatever the format or your overall design looks like since it already looks great and I don't think theres something yet to fix.
I do admit I'd like seeing some more popular games in here, Most of the games you have in here feel like fodder, this applies more to the cheaper ones in your catalogue. I'm also saving my bytes and such currency for whenever you bring something like Hollow knight or the likes with a good discount to your game store. Games that are known to be specially good but also not known for being AAA kindof games.
I think that's all of what I gotta add to this discussion. I do like some games you've got here like Highway Blossoms, Tattletail and Rampage Knights.
Of course, I would be getting most of your third party AAA games if I had the money. But in my case, I don't have the funds nor the required system for playing most of these entries. That's why i'm stuck most of the time at buying your low priced games that also work on low requirement systems. But hey that's just my opinion, buddy!
In fact, I'd like to buy Rampage knights, Chroma squad, The final station, Hellcat, Infested planet and Laberynthine Dreams, now that I've gotten to really check your list in depth!
Don't have time today, but I'll try to sell them to you at later time!! Of course if you bought them during the contest, %20 of their price will be added to reward poll even if you paid with Gbyte!
Congrats, your purchase added 0.72 STEEM to the reward poll.
I realized this criticism, but don't know how to fix it... Are you willing (or think people will be willing) to pay slightly higher than the lowest sale of Steam for one of these popular games? Others made good suggestions I'm thinking of doing that.
Is there a game on your mind you'll buy from me at Steam list price just because you can pay for Cryptocurrency?
Yeah, we all have this problem... That's why we are working hard, aren't we?
I personally think the more you offer the better, even if it's a little bit higher or lower than the steam's sale prices. By letting people buy games from you, you automatically reduce the hassle of turning your cripto / fiat into Paypal and then buying the game or whatever so I think that's a plus! You never know when someone with a couple extra Steem/SBD could come around wanting to buy some of those expensive games from you.
In my case It would be nice for them to be lower than the actual steam prices since spending more than 5$ ON ANYTHING is a commitment I'd hardly be down to agree with. But hey that's just super specific to me. I'd be glad to just see more games in here!
Oh also, the crypto part is really really viable for a lot of people because you never know when people will come with some crypto lying around on their forgotten wallets and who knows, maybe they'll be willing to send you some over as an exchange for some games! I know i'd be willing to spend some of my Avinoc coins when they're available to be traded in the market o:
Yeah I have thought of that, so thanks for reminding me. But I'm trying to think of a way that would be both easy to navigate and have more games to offer.
I'm (was?)the same but I'm aiming for better!
Wow, that is an impressive list! Nothing jumps to mind about improving. It just is a really long list (especially on mobile...), but there isn't much you can do about that!
Yeah I got some suggestions and I'm thinking of making the list shorter with more emphasis on popular titles (which I don't have for now.) Tell me if you got an idea.
Also will you be willing to pay slightly higher than the lowest Steam sale for popular games? Is there a game on your mind you're ready to do that for?
Sorry I wanted to upvote you too but have to recharge my Voting Power.
No problem!
I'm not sure, I am also subscribed to Humble Monthly, so I'm probably getting the exact same games as you!
Yeah, that's why I'm thinking of adding games that was never bundled. I thought it was a risky idea at first but reading the suggestions I think it's worth a try.
Added as entrant for the conversation. By the way, is there a game you'd buy instantly if you saw in my shop? and what's the max price you'll pay for it?

Thanks, that's what I wanted out of this new design.
Thank you for your entry to @steemshop

Thanks for helping each week~
By the way, I am considering a game on your list, so I'll reach out to you on Steam.
What's your Steam name? I don't accept any friend request, you can comment on my Steam profile if you want.
As the answer to your contest if I am not too late.
After reading your post, I only have 2 suggestion. I do not know most of the game and I would prefer a simple interesting description on how to play the game. It is usually the description on how to play the game that attract me to buy a game.
Secondly, the list is too many for me that have to search the information of the game before I decide wheter to buy it or not.
Yeah I got these suggestion before and I have an idea to try next. The description is important but takes too much space so I'll do that for few games and reduce the games in my list a bit.
and
Another question though, is there a game that's not in the list now that you'll buy instantly, an what's the max price you're willing to pay for it? The more games you tell me the more it will help me.
hmm I don't hVe much of a game suggestion because I only like to play a simple game like alladin, previously counter strike and warcraft. Not long before, only android games like pokemon but I like the older version more. Now, I don't have time for games.
Okay thanks for your comment then :)
