in #games7 years ago

Usually, when fighting monsters in JRPG it's boring and like we speed up, but not in Ni no Kuni 2! Check out the following Ni no Kuni 2 review!

We are going to review Ni no Kuni 2 for the PlayStation 4 console. Have you ever played Ni no Kuni games before and just wanted to try Ni no Kuni 2? Then you are in the right article, and see the following Ni no Kuni 2 review.

Synopsis

The story begins in a kingdom called Ding Dong Dell. Here, live a cat-like race, Grimalkin, and a ratlike race, the Mousekin.

In this kingdom, there is a child who will replace the royal throne previously held by the father, and the child is the prince of Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum, who will become one of the main characters you can use in the game.

Unfortunately, Evan Pettiwisker Tildrum as king is still not good, until he met a president from another dimension and world, which is likely Earth, Roland is expected to be the president of America in the future.

Assisted by Roland and Evan's other friends, he will retake the Lord Mausinger-dominated Ding Dong Dell empire.

Battle Against Monsters

In a similar JRPG game, there must be a time where you feel bored facing the same monster continuously. Even in some cases, you prefer to run from the fight compared to the existing enemy.

Different cases with Ni no Kuni 2, here, the author feels different things. If you usually prefer to run if bored, just sometimes players in this game want to face the enemy, although weak though.

There are several reasons, firstly, because of the exciting fighting style (we discussed in the next point), secondly, because they want to do character leveling. But for the second, they have no problem fighting with the same monster continuously in the same area, including the author himself.

Classical But Not Turn Based

JRPG is synonymous with the Turn Based fight style, where we alternate with enemies and friends to attack, that's the classic JRPG.

In the game Ni no Kuni 2, the classic feel is still in the battle, but no longer Turn Based, but Action and Hack and Slash, where you can attack the enemy with the style of combat as you please.

Starting from attacking quickly, as well as with strategy, all as you wish.

Stunning Images

Something to be appreciated from the JRPG game, the World Building is stunning. In Ni no Kuni 2, it is combined with amazing images.

Although Studio Ghibli does not intervene again, it does not mean there is a quality degradation here.

We are brought into a vast fantasy world, with a refreshing sight. Enemies and characters are displayed cute and also cool at the same time.

No Pets System

Review Ni no Kuni 2 enters the point of deficiency. In the previous game, there is something called Familiars. Here, we are like having a pet and going to participate in the fight, certainly an exciting and interesting feature.

Unfortunately, in the game Ni no Kuni 2, the Familiars system no longer exists, so we fight without Familiars. But there are distinguishes, here there are Higgledies, and shaped like a cute Familiars, but you can move.

Conclusion

The exciting and nostalgic story, the classic JRPG impression combined with the beautiful picture, and the fierce battle style and make the bet against the monsters, it seems that is the conclusion of this game. If you like the classic JRPG game but want the current game atmosphere, then no need to ask again, this is the right game for you, and thank you for listening to Ni no Kuni 2 review.
