Hello, I just wanted to share what's going on over at pixelcanvas.io. If you don't know what Pixel Canvas is, it's a game that takes place on a canvas that spans infinitely in all directions. Players click on a pixel to paint it whatever color they like. There is a cool-down time so players have to wait a short period before painting another pixel. The farther from the center the pixel is, the longer the cool-down time is. Many players and groups of players use Pixel Canvas as a way to display pixel art or logos and many fight for control of space in the center.

What is the void?
The void is a movement to take control of Pixel Canvas by painting it entirely black. Here is a screenshot from a few days ago.
As you can see, a group called SDLG had a very large portion near the center and were spreading a red canvas over other art before The Void began taking it back. I sat and watched(and somewhat participated in) the taking over of SDLG. Over the course of a few days, The Void started as a small blip and slowly, it took over a decent amount of what SDLG was painting over. For a couple of days, SDLG fought hard and maintained the area within their black borders. Then after a day or so of not even checking on The Void, I logged back in to find things very different.
Here's a current screenshot of Pixel Canvas.
SLDG has been painted over and it seems like other Pixel Canvas players are happy about that. Notice this?
Is The Void a good thing?
I'm not entirely sure myself. It seems like they're bullying bullies, which could be a good thing. Only time will tell if they'll begin painting over other artwork. The goal seems to be to paint the entire canvas black. Maybe The Void is just a bunch of people with a lot of free time on their hands. I really have enjoyed watching the slow progress the last few days. What do you guys think about The Void? Comment to let me know.
