I have my doubts on modern Blizzard. They will likely try to integrate some always-online infrastructure to Diablo II: Remastered, which I don't have to deal with at all with classic Diablo II. I believe their re-release of Starcraft 1 had the same treatment and for that I didn't download it, even when it was free.

Granted, there are technical problems that I would like to see fixed, but I have little faith that Blizzard will do so competently.
