Gamestore Steam has announced which PC games generated the most sales in 2017. The list contains both titles from 2017 and before.
Among others, the last year released games Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, Divinity: Original Sin 2, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and ARK: Survival Evolved did well.
The online store distributes the best-selling games in four categories. The twelve best-selling games can be found in the category platinum, where Steam presents them in random order.
A total of 28 games can be found in the gold and silver category. Sixty other games receive the predicate bronze. Exactly how much turnover the titles have made, does not make Steam known.

The twelve most sold games are Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, Rocket League, Warframe, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Divinity: Original Sin 2, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, H1Z1, GTA 5 and ARK: Survival Evolved.
Two of the twelve platinum games are free to play. Warframe and Dota 2 do not earn their money by purchasing the games, but by microtransactions. The oldest game in the list is Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. This game is from 2012.
