The series is tightened boredom, if in a nutshell. It is likely that this is a series of interludes in which some historical facts are explained and new entertaining characters are introduced that will be involved in the storylines afterwards. And this is a series about how the Starks are leaving. Ned Stark reached the capital of Westeros and began to perform the duties of the right hand of the king. John Snow went to the Wall and began to serve in the Night Watch. Lady Catelyn also traveled to the capital and told her suspicion about the attempt on Bran's life for her husband Ned Stark. Tyrion Lannister peed from the Wall to the outside world, as he wanted, and therefore turned back to King's Landing. And only the barbarians had something dynamic — Deyeneris stopped the caravan, because of which her brother Wiserys became enraged, but the bodyguard of Deyeneris sobbed him, threw him to the ground and took away his horse. What will happen next is completely unclear. Deyeneris herself is pregnant. And Arya begins to learn fencing.
Tyrion Lannister continues to show himself as a thin diplomat and a clever man. It seems that he is the cleverest of all characters. New characters still look like shadows — a small king's council consists of lords who look like officials and schemers. Someone Littlefinger causes alarm with his ambiguous behavior. Cersei Lannister teaches her son Joffrey the wisdoms of royal intrigue, but it looks too primitive. No Machiavellianism, the right word. King Robert Baratheon continued to drink, but at the same time revealed the role of Jaime Lannister — he killed the previous king, the mad Eyeris Targarien, who said only one thing: «Burn to the ground» (it seems that he had a painful craving for pyromania). And Robert Baratheon himself, as it turned out, was one of the leaders of the uprising against the king.
