I didn't know it was a book series... So I really don't think the books were "one of the most famous book series in the world." (I mean, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones...)
That said, it sounds like this guy got ripped off. He still created it and should get a worthwhile share of the value...
well the game is famous and make the books famous too. But I agree with you ;)
