I track my hands using pokertracker and it can calculate chip EV per hand. It shows the total chip EV over a sum of hands or tournaments. Also since I've written this article I've learnt a lot more about how to play spin and go's, so my strategies are very different to what's in this article, like the advice I've given here isn't what I would do to exploit opponents anymore. I also managed to move up to $3 spins and win at like 75 chip EV per tournament.

Well done on the move up! Will you be posting an article in regards to this?
Yea I could write an article about my results and my poker learning since then as a recreational player. It just really isn't worth my time to grind poker so I just play it for fun. Although I am still a winning fun player, just not winning thousands of dollars.
