A Hot, Sunny Sunday Calls For A Refreshing Lunch!!

I always grew up knowing that one of the many things that is best enjoyed on a sunday is the meal that you prepare for lunch!!

It's about 96 degrees where I'm at today and it's incredibly sunny!!

I decided that it would be a good idea to make a lunch that was both light and refreshing!!!

Instructions

1. Heat a fry pan on the stove with some butter
2. Prepare a bun (I used an onion burger bun) with pesto spread on each side
3. Add turkey (or your choice of deli meat)
4. Add cheese (optional)
5. Add lettuce (optional)
6. Add tomato (optional)
7. Toast the sandwich in the fry pan for about 5 minutes each side with the lid on to heat the middle as well
8. On a plate add tomatoes and fresh mozzarella
9. Take balsamic glaze and drizzle

A caprese salad and a caprese-style sandwich are 2 great pairings with a beautiful sunny day!! Time to go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather!!!
