I agree with ya. Steem blockchain is also for me some kind of stage where I can finally let my creativity go. On this stage, you can do whatever you want and you also have a chance to earn something.
In the beginnings of my Steem journey, I even participated in 100 day poetry challenge. I wrote 100 poems in 100 days and the thing is, I am not a poet nor I read the poetry or I am that much interested in it.
But the thing is, I did it and realized that I waited for this steem stage for whole my life. I can finally let my creativity go and write or create anything I want.
The rewards are just the bonus and if you can see them like that, you'll have no problem with Steem.
Just a bit of patience and we'll all see Steem going up.
It is pretty amazing I think as I have written and posted things that I never thought I would here. It is a lot of fun and yes, rewards are a bonus, not the main attraction.
