Future ups and downs.

I love my country I served my country. I'm a 3x war Vet. I have about $400 in Bitcoin & 1 etherum. The blockchain is in effect and appears to be the future. I feel like I'm ahead, considering the fact that nobody around me knows what bitcoin is. Internet security sucks. The CIA has been hacked and their methods have been made public and some have been used in cyber attacks. It seems like all the news I get is filtered to my interest. My president tells us that it's all fake news. How to be optimistic?

There's a saying someone taught me who was in the entertainment business that I am in... a WWE Hall of Famer... he said to me, "The whole world is a work kid... learn how to play..." and man... is it scarier now than when I was told this... look on youtube... there's youtuber beef... which is fake... and they say it's fake after the fact... they get views... they get tweens to buy their merchandise with their parents money... this next generation needs to find their place in the bigger scheme of things... IMO i could be wrong... i served too but i never done boots on the ground... I commend you sir... i was just a little IT on a big ship...

In response to your question about how to stay optimistic: I think you've got to stay engaged and interested. One of the tactics of these new extreme rightwing regimes is to oversaturate people's minds with conflicting information. Media literacy is more important than ever! Stay informed and don't lose hope.
