Comparing Steemit with Ethereum is kind of difficult with respect to hard forks.
Ethereum offers a development platform on the blockchain and a business unit (smart contract) can easily be extended, modified or improved while on Steem, there is only one business unit and it requires a hard fork to upgrade it. There are advantages and disadvantages on both sides!
Thanks, did not know that but I didn't meant to compare the two.
Only that the word 'hard fork' triggerd something within me.... i don't know why :)
